With ocean waters on both sides, the Curtain Bluff Resort sits on a large and high area of land that sticks out into the body of water. This area of land is called the promontory or the bluff, from which the resort got its name. Two beautiful beaches can be located on the Curtain Bluff: one for wading and bathing and watersports and the other for diving and sailing.

The Curtain Bluff is located at Old Road Village, Carlisle Bay, Antigua, just a kilometer away from Carlisle Bay and 4.8 from Mt. Obama.
Location
The resort has 72 rooms and suites, all with views of the sea. It also has two restaurants and a wine cellar, a championship tennis court, a watersports center, a fitness center and a squash court. You can engage in scuba, paddle boarding, windsurfing, Hobie Cats (brand of small sailing catamarans) and kayaks. You work out at the fitness center or do some walking or hiking. When it’s time to relax and rest, you go to the spa or a beachside swimming pool, to a beach bar and hammocks under coconut palms. The Spa combines impeccable service with the Caribbean lush surroundings, the fresh breeze and the gently swaying waves to make a perfect place for soothing relaxation and pampering.

Bluff Rooms (On the Bluff)
The resort also has five units of Bluff Rooms, with configurations that are similar to the bedrooms and bathrooms of the One Bedroom Bluff Suites. The Bluff Rooms however does not have a large living room. These two types of accommodations can be combined together through the use of interconnecting doors to create accommodations for a family or two couples, with separate bedrooms and a shared living room.
Terrace Room (Signature Collection)
his room has a private location at the bluff’s very top. The offered breathtaking views of the Morris Bay, the beach and the Caribbean Sea makes this signature collection the most popular favorite by honeymooners and a unique choice for any group of tourists. The inside of the room is calming, but the ideal spot is the terrace with a Jacuzzi, where you can truly relax.
Cliff Suites (Signature Collection)
These are renovated suites on the hillside, with a large patio, spacious living room, separate bedroom with king size bed, a terrace with the view of Surf Beach and marble baths.
Deluxe Rooms (On the Beach)
These 18 units are the most affordable accommodations offered by Curtain Bluff Resort. The rooms are contained in a Caribbean style, 2-story villa on the Surf Beach, which is a short walking distance from the restaurant and beach bar. All rooms have colorful West Indian decorations. The furniture is made of dark wood, the bed covers are white with accents that bring the color of the sea to mind.
Junior Suite (On the Beach)
There are 40 units of Junior Suites that open out through 3-story villas on the Surf Beach of the Curtain Bluff Resort. Bedroom sections are furnished with sea grass armchairs and sofas, with blue and green decors. Every suite has a verandah or a terrace overlooking the sea and the shorelines. The bathrooms are tiled with marbles and have double sinks, large, open walled showers and big tubs.
One Bedroom Bluff Suite (On the Bluff)
There are 5 of this unit, with one-and-two bedrooms. More secluded and private, these suites have light and airy split level interiors. Natural wood furniture and sea grass decors are the major furnishings. The living room has an open wall that provides an inside and outside feel. The suites have breakfast nooks and dining terraces that are 16-foot wide. The terraces make for the most commanding, scenic views.

The Tamarind Tree Restaurant
This is the Curtain Bluff’s open walled main restaurant; the limbs of a huge tamarind tree serving as its canopy. For breakfast, some favorites such as French toast, banana pancakes and Eggs Benedict and other island dishes, fresh fruits and juices are served. For dinner they offer a 5-course menu, which is changed every night
The Sea Grape
This restaurant serves food that are influenced by Antiguan and Italian cuisine. Here you can enjoy romantic dinners and casual barefoot lunches, taken a few feet away from the water’s edge.
The Wine Cellar
The Curtain Bluff’s wine cellar has on stock more than 400 of the finest and vintage wines for the wine aficionados, who want nothing but the best vino.
